Proud Big Sister Kate

Kate wanted mommy to take a picture just of her to show off her Big Sis shirt. I think she has got the cheerleader stance already down!

the COOLEST shirts!

S

Cousin Caroline, Aunt Amanda & Uncle John gave Kate the coolest Big Sis t-shirt! She also got a matching onesie to give to her little sister. Kate was so proud of her shirt that she didn't want to take it off. Kate loves to do things "Just like daddy!" or "Just like mommy!" SO Mary Clare having a shirt "Just Like Kate!" was a HUGE deal! Thank you CAroline, Aunt Amanda & Uncle John!

1st photo session

Some recent shots from the Foley Foto Studio!

Great Grandma Bindel "GG" & the girls

Great Grandma Irene Bindel with the two girls. Kate wanted to sit on GG's lap and was obviously irritated that Mary Clare got there first.

Starting her early!

to do is
Kate is getting in her babysitting skills early. ALL of her dolls are named Mary Clare now, (with the exception of a stuffed dog from Uncle David & Aunt Linda and one other baby she has named Baby Elizabeth) and she feeds, burps, or change her babies diapers!

Snuggle Time

Kate got in some snuggle time with her daddy while mommy was tending to Mary Clare. Kate has been fascinated with dinosaurs for a while now, but her current favorite thing to look for now are bugs!

Fun times with the other Bindel family!

Kate was trying to explain to Georgia how to play the maracas so she would ready for Cinco de Mayo while Uncle Coach got in some Mary Clare time.
Georgia decided she didn't want to have music class with Kate anymore so she joined her skinny mama for this photo op with Mary Clare. I am pretty sure Aunt Carlye is ready for another baby!

Fun Time with Cousin Caroline!

First they ran around the house talking to each other on their "telephones" and squealing with delight!

Then they prayed before they had their "snacks" that they made in Kate's kitchen! I think Kate said that they made sausage egg taquitos!

Then Kate went to visit Caroline at the hotel where she got to swim in the indoor pool with Uncle John and Aunt Amanda! Thanks for a fun time! See you soon!

Granda and Mary Clare

Little Angel

Mary Clare is definitely a lot different than Kate was as a baby. Mary Clare is quiet, and only makes a sound when she is hungry. Other than that, she is the most laid back baby!

How does your garden grow?

Kate wanted to help mommy water the garden. She was quite startled at first when I turned on the water and it went all over her!

Kate the Paparazzo

Here is a picture Kate took of her little sister Mary Clare. I am sorry that it has taken me so long to post things this past week - but my camera has been misplaced. Maybe I need to ask little Miss Ann Katherine Foley where it is?

Sharing the Chair

Kate was excited that Mary Clare got to share the chair with her. Mary Clare wasn't too happy that no one was holding her.

Lookie There!

Luke & Evie Berend drove up with their dad Chuck from Fort Worth yesterday to visit Kate's new sister. We had just changed Mary Clare's diaper and they ALL wanted to see her. I thought this picture was so sweet!

Kate, Mary Clare & more Foleys!

First picture of all the Foley grandchildren. Hannah and Patrick's little brother Sam will be here in July!

Above is Grampy, Patrick, Kate & Hannah

Bottom is Grammy with Kate, Patrick, Mary Clare and Hannah.

(We don't get that dressed up to come visit relatives in the hospital. They had just come from church!)

What do you think Kate?

I don't think Kate knows what to think of Mary Clare. It's been a week now, and I still don't think she knows! She is great with her though!

Ready for her Close Up

The cute hat was knitted by some Ladies Auxiliary at URHCS. It was one of two hats that was big enough to fit her head.

Look at this Mary Clare!

Kate picked out a stuffed cow to give to her little sister. I was told she kept pressing it up to the nursery window for Mary Clare to see!

Here she is!

Dr. Sultemeier holding Mary Clare for the 1st time. He was there waiting for her arrival!

This picture was taken after she had her IV put in to get her blood sugar levels regulated.

Our first photo op with our little girl!

Before the Big Arrival

My husband thought it would be *cute* to take pictures of mama before Mary Clare's arrival.
