Happy New Year everyone! Hope everyone had a safe and sound holiday season. I am embarrassed to say that it has been almost three months since my last post. It's true that I have been busy at work, but more importantly I am in my third trimester! I should be bringing another baby into this world in the next 84 to 91 days. We haven't found out the sex yet, but I'll have another sonogram at 30 weeks and we may find out then. Tim is dying to know!!!
I tried not to make any self-righteous resolutions for this coming, because those don't seem to last (with me at least).
But I did start off 2008 with a good start. I woke up and told myself I was going to organize one thing a week until everything is done. I started with a big project - the PANTRY! Tim and I are going to try to eat healthier this year, and set a good example for our children with our food choices. I can't tell you how much junk food I threw away that I really didn't think was "junk" until I read the labels. Lots of stuff! Whatever was opened went in the trash and new things were put in bags to take to our church food pantry for the hungry. I organized, and put in more healthier substitutes. That made me feel really good!
My next project is going to be organizing Kate's room. I'll start with her first dresser, then the following week I'll do her other dresser and her closet. I want to get everything in order by the time our nursery is complete. We are scraping the popcorn glitter ceiling, tearing off the walpaper, painting, adding crown molding, and putting in new carpet. That should take a while, so hopefully I will be done with Kate's room by then!
Other things I hope to accomplish this year is to be the best wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, friend that I can be. I resolve to get more involved with our church.
I also resolve to keep this blog more updated. Did I mention that I got a new digital camera for Christmas? It will be easier now!

Oops...I've did it again
Ok-Ok-Ok...
So it has been a month since the last time I posted anything. I am happy to say that I have found my camera, and I have taken pictures of my daughter Ann Katherine. But it saddens me to say that the pictures I did have of her on my camera were downloaded to Tim's work computer......which crashed over a week ago. BUMMER!!!!! I hope we are able to retrieve the pictures soon!!
What's new with the Foley's? Well, my doctor bumped up my due date to April 8. I was so relieved to see the baby floating around on the monitor and to hear the heart beat. I have been so busy lately, that sometimes I forget that I am even preggers! TRue, I am very tired, but I just contribute working long hours and chasing a toddler around the house to that. I am happy to say that I have not had to start wearing maternity clothes yet, but my stomach is growing! It is not as noticeable though because I have looked three months pregnant for almost the past two years, but my baby belly is starting to push through all that! I am think I have talked Tim into not finding out the sex of the baby this time. He keeps telling me that he will be happy with whatever the Lord gives us. So - If he feels that way, why is he in such a darn hurry to find out? We do have our names picked out.....for the time being.
Tim is staying pretty busy at work--I can't remember the last time he was slow at work! He is also travelling to College Station for every TAMU home game, and he a contractor when he has free time. We are doing some renovating to our house, and my mother is anxious to start renovating her house, so Tim is going to do the best he can overseeing both projects. I'll try to post pictures soon!
Wow - Where do I begin with Kate? She is the sweetest, most precious thing I have ever laid eyes on. Of course, she does have her diva moments (we all know she does NOT get that from her mother :) ), but she amazes us everyday! Her vocabulary is amazing for a child who is not even two! She tried to repeat EVERYTHING you say, and she does a pretty good job at it too. She loves singing her ABC's, the Itsy Bitsy Spider, The Bumble Bee song, Row your Boat, and the list can go on and on! I can see her asking for a karoke machine by the time she is 3! She loves counting to ten and identifying colors, especially the color PINK! She loves to read, loves to eat, and she is already picking out what she wants to wear on daily basis. She still does not have a lot of hair on the side of her head, but she is growing a pretty healthy mullet. We are potty training, but we are taking it pretty slow right now. She knows to ask to go to the potty, but sometimes she asks while she is "going" in her diaper. I need to do some research on potty training so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Please forgive me if it takes me a while to post again. I am averaging about 50+ hours a week at work, plus Tim and I have had commitments every weekend so far since the the weekend of September 21st, and I don't think we are going to have a free weekend until the weekend after Thanksgiving!

Another month has flown by....
WOw. When I was posting my last two pictures, I realized that it had been exactly a month since the last time I posted anything on our family blog. That thought encouraged a bunch of other thoughts to fill my head, especially the thought, "What exactly have I been doing for the past month?!?!?!?" Well, we did have to evacuate out of our house the beginning of July because of the flooding that was caused by never ending rainfall. Once we were allowed back in we cleaned and were in our house for three days before we had to go to the lake and help Tim's mother get settled in their new lake condo. Back to Wichita Falls to work for both of us but then we had to prepare for our 10-day trip to Ireland. Now we are back, we have been landscaping our front courtyard. And it's August. Before long there will be Texas A&M football games, busy weeks ahead at work, and my precious little girl will be turning two. My how time flies when you are having fun! I'll post more Ireland pics - or at least post the link to look at them shortly. Until then - I posted a few above.......

There is one thing Kate & her cousin Georgia have in common - they both are bald babies! Well, Kate not so much anymore, but it has taken us 20 months to get the hair on her head that she has!!!!!Bindel genes
